For my first performance observation, I attended the TCU School of Music Faculty Recital Series that was held on Monday, September 28, 2015 in the Pepsi Co Recital Hall. The instruments and players in the ensemble included the Joey Carter on the vibes and the B3 organ, Paul Metzger on guitar, Buddy Mohmed on bass, Dennis Durick on drums, and Joe Eckert on saxophone. The performance consisted of 15 jazz songs. Each band member had a remarkable list of accomplishments that was listed in the program. They were clearly not armatures in this art. I was extremely impressed with the performance and believe the players did an amazing job especially since they did not practice before the getting on the stage. I am no stranger to the live jazz
