Reflection On The Army's Chain Of Command

I did not know that the Veterans Health Administration was the largest integrated health care system in the United States and that they provide care to 1,233 health care facilities. Before this class I had no knowledge about the Army’s Chain of Command. I have heard terms before like Private and Sergeant but never knew where that put a person. Now I have a better understand of the Chain of Command. At first I do not know what DOD stood for and now I know that it stands for Department of Defense. I learned how the DOD helped to establish three of the military departments. I learned that the DOD Chain of Command starts with the President – Commander in Chief, Secretary of Defense, and then Unified Commander. Before nursing school I never used
