Family, friends, and the social environment influence children, at an early age. And, as some of us may know, children often absorb what they are taught or what they are exposed to because at that stage of their development their brains are like sponges. Just soaking up as much information as it can. And these influences affect the child’s behavior. Making the child subconsciously or consciously adapt and reshape the way he/ she acts/ interacts with others.

Now, the child acts/ interacts with others based on his/ her upbringing. However, as a child grows up, he/ she develops a sense of individuality. Making him/ her act/ interact with others based on his/ her own decisions without

If attitude could predict behavior the statement would have been like this "Since Shirley Bennett has a nice attitude she will be kind to others as well." This statement is false solely based on the video because Shirley is not in fact kind to others. Behavior cannot predict attitude because in the video Shirley Bennett had a very unkind behavior towards others but was very nice in terms of attitude. If behavior could predict attitude the statement would have been like this "since Shirley has a nasty behavior towards others she will not be nice as well" this statement is false because Shirley Bennett does have a nasty behavior of putting down others but has a nice attitude to manipulate others. Some people may have an attitude of saying they care for the environment but do nothing to care for it. Others say they are concerned with the well being of others but do nothing but look out for …show more content…
Groups present in the video were the 5s, 4s, 3s, 2s, and 1s. These groups interacted in an orderly way. The fives would usually interact with themselves only to interact with lower ranked people when giving orders. The people ranked lower would do the same. The way the fives would give orders and give rules for the lower ranked people to follow is an example of inter-group relationships. Inter group relationships is healthy in my point of view because it helps groups communicate with other groups. However, in the video the people weren't really happy with where the Inter group relationships were heading because it wasn't the kind of relationship that made all groups feel heard. But at the end Britta Perry was able to help all the people coordinate and made positive outcomes from the inter-group

According to Bronfenbrenner's ecological models, development is affected by a number of systems within the environment with the child being the center. The model recognizes five ecological systems. They are the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, macrosystem and chronosystem (Boyd & Bee, 2012). These interactions with either will help or hurt the child’s development, which is why this model is important to understand. Microsystem implies the immediate environment of a person.…

If a behavior or act that a child carried out was praised by an adult that response has been reinforced. It can be deduced then, that if the child has a younger sibling, he or she would also attempt the action to gain recognition. Of course, not all behaviors that children learn are positive as displayed in the Bobo Doll Experiment, which can cause negative personality traits later in life if not corrected. Therefore, a child’s environment and their observations throughout life is what determines their behavior and is not…

This lesson was taught on September 25, 2017. It was the introductory lesson for my SPAT Science unit about the sun, moon and stars. I chose this lesson for to reflect on because at first glance, it appears that it went fine, but when I consider my big picture goal for my first SPAT teaching day, I think I could have gotten better results had I arranged things differently. My science lesson time slot is split into two 30 minute segments.…
