My first interviewed was a single women who is a full time student of a Master of Social Work. She is on her twenty three years old and described herself as independent and determined women. She feel more related with a Mexican culture however when I asked her to what nationality she feels more related her answer was American. Her hobbies are to work out and listen to rap music. She also is worry about to find the job she want and buy her own house. She is considering herself as independent women who believe in God but is not affiliated to any specific religious believe.
They both have a strong relationship with her family and live with their parents. I think the fact that they still live with their parents is an example of the strong relationship between them and their family. The family opinion really meter to them. They both respect their parents and live close to family and siblings. Their sibling forms an important part in their family interactions.
Their family culture and tradition of their both parents still are prevalent on her cultural expression. For example, when a single women considered herself as Catholic even when she recognize that she doesn’t attended the church often. However she participates in church activities such baptizes and confirmations because Mexican culture has a strong relationship with a Catholic activities. And also when the married women state that she believe in God even when she wasn’t related with any specific religious
