I would like the privilege of participating in the reef laying ceremony at the World War II memorial. I wish to engage in the reef laying ceremony for several reasons. One of these being that I believe that this would be a memorable and fascinating experience. I think that World War II was a very horrible, horrific, and disastrous event in our history. I would like to honor all the men and women who sacrificed their life to help others and secure the nation. After learning about World War II in 6th grade I have had respect for those men and women and I have had an interest in the war.
