The bomb was never dropped on Germany and the Allies managed to defeat them, so why did we need to drop it on the Japanese? This argument seems like complete ludicrous. The Americans were more willing to use the atomic bomb on the Japanese because of how cruel they had been to the Americans and the Chinese was a lot worse than what the Germans had done to them. Not to say that the Germans were not coldblooded themselves. Also the war was obviously coming closer to an end, so they would be more inclined to end the war immediately because the Soviets were coming closer and closer to
