Although I was tested with numerous challenges, I was not ready to give up the first time around. I knew I must complete what I started. I have always been a firm believer of the American dream; embedded in my mind is the maxim that hard work will pay off. Having studied here for a few years, I could confirm that this place, where opportunities are abundant and social mobility is a real possibility, will never disappoint aspiring international students like us. Unlike other students, however; I believe the process is as much important as the end goals, if not more. I have been blessed with my decision to transfer to Foothill, and I am sure it will be the same as well this time. I have chosen Foothill because of its quality education, unique location, excellent opportunities and wonderful diversity, not that my first college is lacking in any of them.
