The goal is for the participants to identify all their activities that they are doing to improve the condition or situation, for example getting better grades at school. During the counseling session, the counselor pointed out the students’ roles and responsibilities as part of the steps. Teenagers needed to determine whether their current behavior is getting them what they want. Next, the counselor asked them if their behaviors are helpful or destructive. Again, the researcher and the respondents collaborated to come up with the plans of action for their specific needs. The plan for each participant shall be realistic and intended to assist him or her to change or alter his or her
