Once upon a time, a girl lived in a world not so far away. She desperately looks in every direction to figure herself out. Who is she? An introvert? Extrovert? Both? All she knows about herself is that she loves to be around people, to help them as much as possible, and to try to be open-minded about nearly everything. Although she can get confused on how she is feeling at times, she is very good at knowing how she feels. With all of this confusion, the girl decides to take some online tests to figure out the kind of person she is. Searching through the internet, she scours websites looking for the perfect one that appears legitimate, eventually finding a few that pique her interest. Taking the first one that catches her eye, 16 Personalities, she answers the questions at a rapid manner, wondering how questions like “You do not mind being at the center of attention.” and “If someone does not respond to your e-mail quickly, you start worrying if you said …show more content…

Due to the lack of details describing who she is, once again, she finds herself back at the 16 Personality website. This time, she selects the page that first appeared after the test was taken, titling the article with “ADVOCATE PERSONALITY.” That page has a laundry list of ways to describe, understand, and develop herself as a person. It gives subtopics to read about that explains how her specific personality fits in with everyday life in things like, romantic relationships, parenthood, friendships, career paths,

The writer in the story "Discovering Yourself with Myers-Briggs" instantly caught my attention in the first paragraph leaving a questionnaire for you to answer. In my opinion the author motivates the reader's diligence to discover what these questions mean. Wendy goes into great detail in discussing the methods of determining one's personality through Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test categorized in three dimensions: extroversion versus introversion, sensation versus intuition, and thinking versus feeling. She also gives a lot of factual information and breaks down what each dimension means for that particular personality. I think the conclusion is summed up nicely, she does a good job of linking the main points in order and characterizing…

My personality type indicated by The Keirsey Temperament report is that of the idealist and I agree. It seems I always strive to discover who I am and how I am my greatest – whether it be professional, such as education or self-improvement, such as, better health. Inspiring others to visualize their dream or journey has led to lasting relationships. But, in fact I don’t overlook details at all, I try to cover as many details as possible and because of that, I tend to over analysis details and make simple assignments difficult tasks. I also try to pay attention to as much detail as possible because I am terrified of failure, and if I failed…
