While thinking about all this, I developed a few reading rules for myself and by which I stand firm. Let’s see if you agree with any.

Well, if you are, then have the nerve to read every word of it. I think skipping pages because it is getting boring just breaks the flow of the story. It doesn’t do justice to the writer who has penned it down for us. I remember reading ‘The Hobbit’ and how I wanted to skip those exhaustive descriptions of hills and valleys. Nevertheless I read through it and finished the book.
How many of you carry a book in your bag? This one’s pretty practical for girls and I always keep a book with myself wherever I go, especially to university. You don’t want to look like a loser sitting alone, well you can and there is no harm in that. There are a million other things you can do if you’ve been let off from class early or you’re friends aren’t available. I just think that sitting alone in a corner of the cafeteria with a book, sipping coffee, just makes you look pretty cool. Plus, it will help the boredom and unwanted company away.
I firmly believe that the first few pages do not justify an entire book. To me the end counts. I love reaching the end and then forming my final verdict about how the book actually was. I don’t know but until I reach the end, I like the book even if I first hated it. So yes, don’t judge a book by its cover but certainly don’t judge it by its first few
