Racism In Kansas City

Decent Essays
People in Kansas City may think there are millions of solutions to solve problems in such a segregated world. Many people put out many ideas from racism more community involvement fairs and church etc. They might sound like great ideas but in reality it’s most likely that they might not work. These ideas might only work for that one day and will never make a big difference. Racism is a big problem and the way to fix this problem or at least try to fix it would be by harsh penalties this is better then integrating neighborhood. One reason why this a better solution is that people would think twice before doing something to someone else. Another thing is that the criminal or bad person would have time to reflect on what they did. Racism

There are prisoners who are justly in prison but do not belong there. Just like there is prisoners that are justly in prison and do belong there. Therefore, providing an alternative to prison for those non- violent offenders could diminish the high incarceration rates and help rehabilitate the more serious offenders. An alternation to prison would be placing low level offenders into intensive community supervision where probation officers have less cases and are able to supervise offenders more closely. For some offenders, daily reporting can keep them on stricter path and reduce the chances of them of re-offending.…
