With the issue of racial profiling it is described by Risse “ that there is significant correlation between membership in certain racial groups and the tendency to commit certain crimes”(Risse M). Describing that many crimes are only committed by only few and select racial groups. There has been many studies that investigate police on the issue. This was even stated by Langan saying “Traffic stops are the single most frequent type of police-citizen encounter” (Huggins 2011). With Lundman stating that “Accordingly, traffic stops are central to citizens’ perceptions of the police” (Huggins 2011) When patrolling communities patrol units come into contact with many citizens. It being by getting pulled over or just by a police call with help that is needed. There has been events in a particular state that anyone could be stopped and searched. It starts from the beginning of a person 's life to learn the right way to see and treat people. With bringing officers and individuals together and see that there is this problem with racial profiling. Reconnecting the trust and stability of the idea police officers will do the right thing. If this does not happen the increasing amount of racial people will rise with the problem of racial profiling will increase as well. With more people becoming this way the more likely for police officers believing in this. Racial profiling is epidemic that needs to be faced not just by minorities but by the whole nation. If our nation does not come together then the idea of racial people will never leave. All my findings point to this and how it needs to end. If minorities cannot even drive or walk down the street without being stop it needs to change. The main problem is to admit there is a problem with out that nothing will
