ABOUT

Rachel Ritfeld is born in Suriname, South America and is of mixed Indian and Black Caribbean heritage. She moved to Belgium at age 10 with her mother who worked for the Surinamese Embassy in Brussels. It was here, that Rachel was scouted on the streets of Brussels by a model scout who signed her at age 15. Rachel was instantly in love with the catwalk.

Keen to get an education, she moved to Brighton in England at age 17 to go to University where she majored in Social Anthropology at the University of Sussex. Throughout university she went up and down to London for model bookings but it wasn't until she graduated at age 20, that she decided to pursue a full time career in fashion and entertainment business.

And in 2007 Fashion TV named her one of the hottest models in the world at the model awards in Cannes, France.

Rachel has strong moral and ethical values and has been a spokeswoman for various charities including the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust. As a role model she has been invited to speak at various conferences such as Inspirational You, the I'mPossible conversations, the Angel Film Festival in Monaco and many more.

Additionally, Rachel is a sought after TV personality. Africa Magic Entertainment (DSTV, South Africa) did an hour special entitled "Cooking with Rachel Ritfeld" where Rachel showed off her culinary skills while being interviewed.

Rachel has worked in numerous areas of the fashion industry such as catwalk, editorial, catalogue, billboard campaigns, commercials, film and TV.

As an actress some of Rachel's accolades include playing a CIA agent in "Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation", playing Ali in season 1 of "The Royals" on E! Entertainment and most recently starring as Barbara in "My Riot" which is set to come out later this
