Rabbi Mark: The Rabbi At My Dynagogue

A leader is someone who leads a group, while an effective leader is someone who not only leads, but also listens. To me, the Rabbi at my synagogue, Rabbi Mark, is an effective leader. During a sermon at Yom Kippur services, Rabbi Mark stated, “Sometimes we need to stop and listen to what others have to say.” Even if we disagree with a person or we are in a hurry, it still important to stop and listen to others perspectives. Once we learn about others perspectives we can truly show compassion for others and become effective leaders.
Rabbi Mark not only preaches theses morals, but he also practices them. Although Rabbi Mark is an influential renowned leader at my synagogue, he still always takes a moment to greet everyone and ask them how
