Additionally, I joined the National Society of Pershing Rifles. In this program, I took a leadership position, which further enhanced my leadership skills, and my ability to work with others. The training and experience I received through this program enhanced the skills that I had already acquired through the ROTC program. These skills helped me earn ROTC awards such as: the academic honors award, the warrior flight award, and the physical fitness award.

Jessup International Moot Court Team. The team gave me great experience in researching legal issues and writing a brief for a panel of judges. Throughout my participation I developed skills in being able to critically think on complex international legal issues. I also gained valuable experience during the competition with arguing against other law schools in the northeast region.
Furthermore, I was also a volunteer fireman in my hometown for a period of six years. During this time I learned how to act under pressure and in highly stressful environments. Moreover, I developed skills in camaraderie and in being a good follower.
