Research question:

How do gender, mental status and socioeconomic status influence diabetes in the United States?

Hypotheses:

Sample size = 51, (50 states and District of Columbia)

H0.1: Female and male populations are equally susceptible to the onset of diabetes.

HA.1: Female population is more susceptible to the onset of diabetes.

measuring by comparing the correlation values: male population rates and diabetes rates V.S female population rates and diabetes rates

H0.2: There is no relationship between mental illness and diabetes.
