The first punk rock experience that I had was at Angels Roadhouse 2 and I saw the band Smut Peddlers. I was 7 or 8 at the time and the only reason I went besides my parents making me was that me and my brother got in for free. So we drove all the way down the hill to see them play. Once we got to the Angels Roadhouse I started to get butterflies in my stomach. Once inside my Mom gave me and my brother twistable ear plugs because she didn’t know how loud it would be but it didn’t matter for my brother because he fell asleep later in the night during the concert. Before the show started my Dad went and found the singer and me and my brother met him and he said he was going to dedicate a song to me and my brother and we were excited.
