Nothing screams Halloween like vampires, ghosts, and haunted houses, but the most favored festivity to do during the holiday is to decorate your house with gourd-like orange fruits which are illuminated by candles. From doorstep to doorstep, these carved pumpkins peer out for the entire neighborhood to see. This tradition was originally brought to America by Irish immigrants, and has become an integral part of Halloween celebration since.
