This can be in the form of social media, billboards, magazines articles and television programs. A study discovered that ninety percent of adults have problems finding and using health information. At least fifty three percent of adults can comprehend and apply some of the health information they read. There are fourteen percent of adults that have below-basic health literacy and have little to no understanding of basic health information. A secondary goal of health education and promotion is to develop the necessary resources within the community to promote healthy lifestyles. These resources are for different settings such as schools, workplaces, and health fairs.
