There has been an increased interest in the wellbeing and health of individuals with disabilities. From a public health perspective, the estimated annual direct cost in 2004, of treating back pain alone, was $193.9 billion (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (July 2015, Vol. 9 #7). Seekins et al., 1990 noted that secondary conditions includes one of the main contributors to this cost of medical services. Major methods to reduce the effects of this secondary conditions is through Health promotion and education. Wellness promotion programs for individuals with disabilities is very limited. An accurately developed health promotion program would provide wellness and improve the lifestyle of persons with disabilities. This project presents
