Scientists investigating emotions, specifically love, through the perspective of neuroscience would study the brain and its reactions. Do certain individuals view love one way because of what their environment imposed upon them, or because it already programmed into their genes at birth. In order to test this theory, behavioral geneticists would have to acquire data from different groups of people from contrasting areas, but similar genetic structure, then compare how they view love. The unique perspective of psychodynamics is unlike any of the ones previously mentioned. Psychologists specializing in the field of psychodynamics might investigate the attraction element of love. More specifically, why we are attracted to a certain type of person.
