Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a mental disorder that is most common in children. It is a neuropsychiatric syndrome that affects children worldwide. The primary characteristic of (ADHD) is a persistent pattern of inattentive, or hyperactive/impulsive behaviour that interferes with functioning and child’s development. There are different symptoms of ADHD, for instance, difficulty in sustaining attention in tasks and activities, unable to give attention to details, and difficulty organizing assignments, distracted easily and often oblivious to day-to-day operations (Hickey, 2013). As with most of the mental disorders, the accurate cause of ADHD is unknown; therefore, results from a combination of factors play a role in its development, such as genetic and environmental factors. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disorder, but treatment can help lower the symptoms and mitigation the problem condition. The approach of treatment consists of parents and child education about treatment, behaviour management techniques, school programming, and supports. There have been several significant studies about poor academic performance in children with ADHD. It showed that students with ADHD, compared to students without ADHD, have academic difficulties that resulted in lower marks, more failed grades, increased dropout rates and a lower rate of college undergraduate completion. Children with ADHD are more likely to be expelled and repeat grades compared with control group, and this is causing behavioural and social problems these reasons are what the study is focusing on, and it can be dealt with some significant
