Cyberbullying Effects
From many years, the technology around, us has been majorly evolving, we went from horse carriages to cars to self-driving car electric cars. The changes in our technology are so advanced now that we have a large percentage of the world visible or accessible to our eyes. We can communicate, see each other, and share anything with anyone just in seconds. As there are many advantages of the technology we have, however, it has many negative roles too. The most controversial issue of today’s technology is cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is an easier version of bullying kids but now instead of talking to them saying it on things like social media. Cyberbullying is a serious issue and can lead to self-destruction of a person.
According to a report from the Urban Institute, 17% of the victims of bullying are reported to be cyberbullying. Once things are on the internet, they are forever going to stay online. Most of the bullying done in cyber bullying is with direct messages. Many of the teenage kids on their social media get anxiety, depression, and suicide thoughts, after their first encounter with cyberbullying. Sufferers of bullying has killed there self, when the person who bullies them tell them that the world will be more adorable without them. Any type bullying is a major issue, and it does harm to many people. People have not acted toward cyber bullying. People are committing suicides because of cyber bullying people. Someone needs to take an action towards cyber; a report suggests teens from the age group of 13 to 17, 43 percent of them have experienced cyberbullying, in the recent year. If no one acts now, we will never be able to stop cyber
