Qualitative research is the exact opposite of quantitative, it doesn’t use numbers or statistics. Qualitative research uses photographs, field notes, videos, texts and interview transcripts. These types of researchers like to become a part of a culture or context that is being observed. This could require months or even years of intense research because the participant needs to be accepted into the environment they wanted to be a part of to get true unbiased data.
