Pros And Cons Of Probation Officers

I really do believe that probation officers can keep most of their offenders from committing new crimes and from violating the conditions of their probation as long as they have the necessary training and support system that is needed for success. I have several friends that are probation officers and they all say that their case loads are way too much. They feel that they cannot adequately monitor all of their clients because they have too many. They also know that some of their clients are milking the system and that the task of keeping them out of trouble and from reoffending is impossible. The majority of their clients are following their conditions and making an attempt to learn from their mistakes and become a better person. I think
