It would be a great way to better our community with things such as new roads, schools, and law enforcement. In Colorado, it is suggested that it could raise 5-17 million dollars. That is a huge deal of money being made just by legalizing one drug. Marijuana would also take funds from law enforcements and allow them to focus on more important things. Taking the time to charge someone with marijuana is taking away the time you could charge someone with a more serious charge such as battery or murder. Those people who participate in illegally selling marijuana would no longer have to do that if it were to be legalized. This would make the streets much safer. Justice and court systems would also have time to focus on more cases. I think it is unfair that someone in Colorado could use marijuana whenever wherever they please, but someone in Indiana would be sent to jail for it. It’s not right if someone got the marijuana in a legal state and brought it to an illegal state only to be charged for it when they legally bought it. The drug itself is not as bad as people make it out to be. There are many jobs who do not hire if you fail a drug test for marijuana, the legalization of this could create many jobs for people and possibly taking some of them off the streets (“New Schools Less
