In conclusion, although the recent footage contained disturbing images of the unethical practices of selling and buying of aborted fetus tissue, defunding the Planned Parenthood program would only benefit those in power passing the bill. If such an action took place, where the aborted fetus tissue was sold, who is to say that the patient did not consent to the donating of the tissue, before the procedure? What if she did? Is the government really for the people as it states in the Preamble to the United States Constitution? I definitely think not! People in power establish laws disregarding all of those who are generally affected by the laws created. In a sense they are selfish in their law making. Neglecting how their laws affect citizens of this country of various income levels causes more problems than helping.

Individuals will have to go without any form of preventative measures to live a happy healthy life. There will be no resources available to help educate young adults, whom the government loves to state are, “tomorrow’s future.” This is a very frustrating issue that is in need to be fixed to better help the people of this country. “Proposed cuts are simply cruel. Cutting funding to Planned Parenthood makes little health or fiscal sense because the organization’s services are necessary for the health of millions of women who have little access to health care” (Annas and Mariner, 2011). I hope that people will really take into consideration the seriousness of this issue. Let’s put aside those conservative and religious views that look down upon this program.
