An example of a film that operates a propaganda would be the film “American Sniper”. The film shows a very black and white view to the Iraq war. This film is based on the idea that Muslim or Arab people are bad, while there is a ‘white savior’ that acts as a hero by killing them, which promotes racism and Islamophobia. This film promotes war and is anti-Muslim, as if they are trying to convince the viewer that Arab people are bad and there is good behind their horrible actions. The protagonist of the film real life most lethal American sniper, Chris Kyle is portrayed as an unapologetic and proud killer. The Iraqis are

One piece of propaganda to consider is a 1948 cartoon by Hanna and Barbara called Make Mine Freedom. This cartoon, begins by stating how America is great for everyone, and explaining what America means to different people. It also states the many various freedoms and rights that people are afforded simply because they are an American. As the cartoon continues, we notice a group of men: a farmer, a laborer, a capitalist, and a politician – basically complaining, and one states: “management is lousing up everyone!” We then see another character appear, promoting “Ism”, which he is basically promoting as a cure all.…

The Iraqis' misleading representation in American Sniper sparks anti-Muslim propaganda through the significant rise in violent hate targeting Arabs and Muslims in America following its release due to the Iraqis' close resemblance to Muslims in real life. American journalists from Electronic Intifada, Max Blumenthal and Rania Khalek, were deluged with death and rape threats for posting their repulsion on Twitter with Hollywood’s glorification of a mass killer and exposing the racism espoused in the American Sniper film (Khalek, 2015, para. 10). After posting several passages from Chris Kyle’s book, "American Sniper", they unsurprisingly drew the attention of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim threats the film was stimulating as evident through the numerous…

For example, during the German Blitz , the British government desperately needed the United States to join the war; those who did not actively support the American allies were deemed to be aiding the enemy.
