The purpose of this memo is a detailed overview, reflection, question/answer response and self-evolution conclusion of things I learned in Technical Writing class.
Overview: I feel the purpose of technical writing focuses on the specific details of writing resumes, technical instructions, memos and accurate reports. This includes how to format and layout these documents. It is very important in the business field to be able to correctly prepare these documents. I need the ability to prepare written communication, proofread, editing, documentation formatting, and using different style guides in my career.

How—and in what particular ways—has my writing improved from the time I entered the course until now?
I learned new techniques when writing my resume and the signature initials on a memo.
6. How do I plan to continue to hone on my technical writing skills after I leave this class?
I need to be careful when submitting assignments, double check instructions, and to stay update on current writing techniques.
7. Which particular assignments are most valuable to me as I prepare for a career in my particular field? Which particular assignments are not?
The cover letter and resume were the most important to me but all assignments were beneficial.
8. Which assignment do I believe represented my best work? Why did I choose this particular assignment as indicative of my best work?
I am choosing my resume as my best work. The assignment allowed me to present myself in a unique format and was a reflection of who I am. I also will be using it in the near future.
Conclusion: I feel this class is necessary no matter the field of study. I have learned a great deal and hope to pass on this beneficial information. I look forward to presenting my resume to a future employer and feel very confident with my
