There is more than meets the eye “If you are fearful, a horse will back off. If you are calm and confident, it will come forward. For those who are often flattered or feared, the horse can be a welcome mirror of the best in human nature.” (Balding) The quote above, stated by Clare Balding, showers on us the insight of how powerful a horse can be. If a horse has the capability to show sincerity and remorse for a simple human, then it is only respectful to show the same in return. What better way to show that appreciation, then taking the time to bath, groom, shelter, and love your horse?
Before buying a horse, one must have the essentials. A stable is a common shelter for horses. Also, a trailer that is the appropriate

If you ever want to lead your horse(s), you need a halter and a lead rope. A halter is a head brace for a horse that allows for safer leading and comfort for the horse. The lead rope is a piece of rope with a metal clip attached, almost like a leash. If you ever want to ride your horse(s), one must acquire a horse blanket, saddle, and a bridle with reins. A saddle blanket allows for comfort for the horse, and the saddle makes for a safer, easier riding experience. The bridle and reins are for control of the horse. They allow the rider to control which direction to travel.
However, before riding your horse, one must take the time to nurture their horse(s). The first step is bathing the horse. A bucket filled with lukewarm water and a wash cloth is how. After, washing the dirt off your horse, take a garden hose to wash off the soap that is on the horse. If the soap dries on your horse(s), the horse(s) may become itchy over time. If you want to ride your horse(s) immediately, you may towel dry the horses. If not, allows them to air dry on their own time. Also, sometimes there is not enough time to properly bath your horse, so one must primp
