Many people ask the question, what is a sport? ”A sport is an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment (topendsports.com)”. People think that sports are just for fun and most of the time it is, but professional athletes make sports a career. There is a wide selection of talented men and women that play sports and it is amazing to see them perform their talent. Players are sometimes skilled enough to go from representing their school, to representing their country. Football is an amazing sport, the things these players do is amazing and breath-taking. Probably the most widely player known right now is either Odell Beckham Jr. for an amazing one hand catch or Peyton Manning winning the Super Bowl and retiring after sixteen years of playing pro football. Few players go this far in this career. Football is a very difficult sport; it takes heart to play it. Football is the top leading sport for concussions. Players can get hit so hard they may lose their memory or even die. Concussions usually happen when a player gets hit in the head too hard, they may also break a bone or even worse. If a player gets injured it is usually no problem most of the time the players are only out for a couple of weeks or seasons. Some injuries are far worse than others. Some players might get hurt so bad the player could never attempt this sport again or even be hospitalized. In conclusion, football is the best sport that was ever invented. Many men and women do not like the sport of football because of how physical it can be. Football is a sport played to entertain the viewers, but will not necessarily always be played safe. It is a good thing if everyone is safe but players take the risk of being injured and should consider life after the
