As a private pilot, lobbying is an essential and crucial key to maintaining freedom and respect within my passion. It is my belief that general aviation is one of the most misunderstood pastimes in America. It might come as a shock that at sixteen years old, a student pilot is allowed to fly an aircraft with no instructor present. Many of these individuals have flown solo before they have even driven a car and it has become an important tradition.
