Most people wonder if discrimination against gender is still happening. In today’s society there is an increase in women in the workplace. More women are doing a lot in the business world like men. They are taking positions as managers, CEO’s, and even professional athletes. Men and women view things in their lives very differently. They may also view similar products different ways. There are situations in life where women are being charged higher and paid lower than men based on similar products, necessities, and self-coverage.
In different careers women are being paid lower than men who may have the same qualification and the same position. These professional soccer players enjoy what they do, and had a lot of patience about how they felt about the situation, but they ended up getting tired of feeling mistreated so they spoke up about it.
