I agree with his points when he explains that to be in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, you must incorporate anti-Blackness within your own community (Ramos 4). I agree with Ramos’s claim because I believe that movements like, Black Lives Matter, tackles general and broad issues such as, racism, and in order to overcome these social issues you need to do more than just focus on your community. This is because racism does not just affect one group of people, but all communities of color. After reading this article, one challenge and question I have is would solidarity be the answer to end racism. From this article, I concluded that solidarity in some way would unify communities that are struggling with similar issues, however how would being in solidarity with other communities put an end to racism and is there even ever an end to
