Praying The beautiful thing about music is its ability to reach millions of people everywhere. And out of those millions, almost every single one of them, if not all, have faced some sort of difficulty. Music has the power to let those people know that they are not alone. While there are a multitude of songs to listen to and connect with, Kesha and Ryan Lewis’ collaborative hit, “Praying”, encourages those who face adversities and gives them that extra push in the right direction.

As humans, it is natural to feel unsure about something because we are afraid. But even to listen to a song that leaves people free to interpret it as they choose to, is a lifesaver in itself. A huge reason that individuals listen to music is because it feels

Kesha’s experiences with her ex-producer were the reasons for this brilliant piece. Dr. Luke controlled Kesha by disrespecting her and her music. There has been a legal feud between the two since 2014. Claims have gone back and forth on what has happened. But regardless, Kesha has obviously been traumatized from her experience with Dr. Luke. Therefore, this song was her way of expressing herself in her own way without anyone such as him, dictating her voice or actions. This is what she wanted to convey to her followers as well. No matter what they may or may not be going through, the goal was to show them their own light at the end of the tunnel. They can get out just as she

Music is powerful and can cause people to dig deep in order to find its true meaning. However, two people may never agree on the meaning of a song because they interpret it differently. Another point is that “themes or pieces need not express only one emotion” (Copland). People can grab multiple emotions from a single piece. These emotions can allow people to go different places in their head and even to reflect on their life.…

__I think the meaning of the song that Beyoncé wrote is describing pain and what females have to go to or young teens go through, trying to impress the world, and society. How that all what we do don’t mean anything or how we present ourselves maybe we aren’t too happy on the inside maybe everything isn’t all that’s well. I like the song genre because it really feels like music for our souls trying to heal it also. The new generation now we teenagers are affected by this particular song. I think the most powerful lyrics of the song is “pretty Hurts”, because that is the pain of the song the ultimate feelings that’s what she’s trying to get the audience to understand.…
