IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NAVY (DON) TASKING, RECORDS, AND CONSOLIDATED KNOWLEDGE ENTERPRISE REPOSITORY (DON TRACKER), NAVADMIN 105/17, released 1 May 2017, announced the revised implementation plan of the task management (TM) function of the DON TRACKER for the OPNAV Staff and Echelon II Commands. The DON TRACKER can be accessed at https://dontracker.navy.mil. DON TRACKER is a single enterprise solution to replace multiple legacy department-wide TM and records management (RM) applications to streamline digital tasking and recordkeeping at a lower cost across the Secretariat, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps. This plan initially affects OPNAV and commands currently using the TV5 TM system, and will eventually impact those using Congressional Information Management Systems (CIMS) once it is transitioned over to the DON TRACKER system. All TV5 files (i.e., tasks, document reviews, responses) closed and archived on or before 8 May 2017 will be migrated to DON TRACKER for Initial Operating Capability. TV5 tasks closed between 8 May 2017 and 31 December 2017 will be migrated to DON TRACKER in early 2018. TV5 will remain operational as read only for archival access until data is completely migrated to DON

Slide Board Product Information The first slide board was designed by Former Miami Dolphins football player Jeff Markland and his initial purpose was to use in the rehabilitation of injured knee joints (Lloyd, 1992). Markland created his own model, and called it Kneedspeed, after having seen Eric Heiden, a gold medal speed skater in the Olympiads using a similar product (Lloyd, 1992). Then, Markland associated with Kathy Stevens of Reebok and they developed the Reebok slide board (Lloyd, 1992). In the 1990s, slide board came into the fitness field which also is called lateral slide training, but it did not gain much popularity; because the lateral sliding movements seemed unnatural if you lack the inner thigh strength to boost your bodies across the board (Lloyd, 1992).…

The third component will begin in July 2017, which involves understanding our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and hiring a trained professional who has extensive knowledge pertaining to MIPS. Therefore, the first activity in component three is to ensure our EMR, eClinical, is sufficient enough to handle the MIPS reporting data. For example, the EMR needs to be able to extract quality measures in order for our organization to report to CMS by the end of the 2017 fiscal year. In this activity, the practice manager will need to research and attend seminars to understand how to retrieve data from eClinical so she may report the quality measures for each of the eight physicians. She also needs to be knowledgeable on how to extract the data from…

To this day you can still see the remains of the burned buildings and trees. Many locals take great pride in trying to preserve Bulow, as it is a big part of Florida’s history Many studies have proven what we already believe to be true about Bulow and its history. A group of people from University of Florida who were a part of the field school visited Bulow to do some diggings around the area. These excavations were done to prove the story that everyone thought to be true about Bulow; they would look for artifacts, jewelry, and tools to give some insight on what life might have been like nearly 200 years ago.…

In other words, the activities represent tasks the organizations will perform for the length of the program in order to reach their long-term goal. Therefore, within Gastroenterology Associates, the President and practice manager are teaming up in order to implement an educational program based on the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). When I was assigned the Patrol Base Operations and PCC/PCI lab, I noticed first hand exactly how vital planning is to an entire operation. Everything had to be discussed at length, written down, revised, rehearsed, and timed. As my partner and I worked through our material we applied the fundamentals of the Operations Process to our assignment. We planned what facilities we would have and what equipment we would use; we prepared a power point presentation for the class and a short skit to perform; and we rehearsed for hours on end. Despite all our efforts, unforeseen circumstances still arose and adaptations had to be made.…

I have always desired a career that will make a difference by targeting populations, highlight prevention methods, and one that will be a challenge. Prior to obtaining my MPH, I had the opportunity to intern with the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH) in the Environmental Health Branch program called the Chemical Hazards Program (CHP). I assisted the CHP staff by creating and maintaining a database from their Environmental Health Education Needs Assessment on a Superfund site investigation in relation to uranium in private well-water. The health data was then evaluated, recommendations were made, and, as a result, I co-authored the Environmental Health Education Needs Assessment Report which entailed details of the project/study.…
