Pothole-Personal Narrative

I knew we were good as dead when I tripped on a pothole. My friends and I were running along a gloomy field, and I was looking behind my back to check if our pursuers were still on our trail. Suddenly, my foot met something that wasn’t grass, a pothole hidden from sight. The entire event happened faster than my brain could comprehend, but I knew that we were inevitably going to get caught. From that moment forward, I learned that angering teenagers that are older than you is a horrible and painful idea, yet an exhilarating experience. It all started on a night in a relatively peaceful village in Germany. My friends and I were messing around on this September night. We had nothing to do since it was the weekend. We kept walking down the street since we thought we weren’t afraid of the teenagers. The teenagers started shouting and cursing at us. My friends and I still ignored them. My friends started saying stuff back at them. Then, finally, one of the teenagers hopped right of the truck and took off after us. I finally realized that we were being chased. One of my friends shouted, “ Go, go, go, go! ”
We started running back where we came from. The teenagers were hot on our trail. We could hear the thundering of their feet against the concrete and the truck engine roaring in full power. Two were running after us on foot while one other was in a car on the road. I was following my friend, Blake. We ran around in circles trying to throw them off. At one point, they were so close I could scent their vulgar body odor. Faster than lightning, one of the teenagers whipped out an Airsoft gun from his pocket and started shooting at us. We could hear the loud clap of the Airsoft gun. It frightened us to the bone and we started running around trying to dodge the bullets, but sadly we still got tapped a few
