By earning the trust and respect of the employees, and making the environment of the company a more positive one, raising the employees’ ambition levels, getting the employees to be willing to work harder for me, and for them to start to build stronger bonds with the other employees in the company, helping me to start working on some of my interpersonal goals. To continue making employees feel valued in the company, I will encourage employees to share their thoughts and ideas about anything that they feel could be beneficial for the company, and try to implement them when possible. If their ideas are not possible, then I will be honest with them about why they are not possible, and try to come up with a compromise where the idea will work in the company, and make the employee who suggested the idea happy with the results. Doing this will continue to build the employees respect for me, and help them to feel free and comfortable to share their ideas with me. Another interpersonal goal will be accomplished by me showing the employees that I trust them, and I will allow them to do their jobs independently without constantly being watched.
