We are living in a modern world where as soon as we wake up, we watch news on TV or listen to the radio or read on article on the internet. When our parents were young, they would know the news of the neighborhood, relatives and other information by mouth. However, now that science technology has been developed, people made TV, radio, movie and magazines. They are typical mass media. It is a mass media that the delivering means of communication, information, and idea in public, indirectly and one-sidely. Our lives are changed in many fields by making mass media. We are acquiring the information of food, clothing and shelter through TV and watching fancy celebrities in Drama and movie. One of the most important among mass media is television, because everybody maybe has TV …show more content…
It is very close and common to us. 'The Truman show' has negative effects of TV. The main character in the movie is Truman that is main role in the live TV show. Viewers all of the world have being watch his life from the birth to now during almost 30-years through TV but Truman doesn’t know who he is. He has lived in where broadcasting company made the huge studio. All of things in studio such as house, building, island and sea are made by the company. Also all people in the world are actor. This movie shows plainly negative effect of TV. In this paper it will discuss detail of movie and what is the relative with negative effect of TV.
