PCC (Portland Community College) has been established more than 50 years whose purpose is to preparing students for four years schools. PCC is a popular school for many International Students to applies. The school offers many program to study and preping the students for their four years school after they finsish their requiredment class. How do International Student apply to PCC? There are few steps they need to do to apply for school and they can do this while they in their home countries. The steps are: Application Form, student background reports, and health insurance.
The first step, there are two option to turn in a application for Internation Students. They can pick either apply online or apply with the paper application. The applicaton fee for both options is $50 non-refundable, the students can paid by Visa/Mastercard for online and check/money order for paper application. On the application

students need to transfer their academic transcripts from previous school with official letterhead to PCC and it must be in English language. This can help advisors understand student’s transcripts.After this, students must show proof of financial support. It's a paper document that can prove the property of the family may support facilities for student.This bank document must show at least $18,000 in U.S. dollars. Bank statements must be no older than 6 months from the first day of the term you apply for this term. It must be in English and on the letterhead (official stationary) of the bank.
Health insurance is the last step that Internation students need to apply to PCC. PCC required all International students to have health insurance coverage while study at their school. PCC don't accept health insurance from out of the country so do not buy. PCC want to make sure that their student is healthy and have protection while study at their
