Why does Government exist? Government exists to regulate citizens of any given Country. The Government has certain responsibilities that they must put forth to protect and honor its citizens. Such as maintaining providing public services (schools, roads, libraries etc.), military defense,preserving order within the community, socialize the young, and collect taxes.

Being raised in the heart of Portland, with a liberal parent, who had lots of experiences to share with me about the world. I am also in an AP government class this year, Mr. Alves has taught me a lot about how the Government functions and how it is put forth.
