In this assignment I will be identifying the rank structures and those ranks responsibilities of two contrasting uniformed public services (P.S). The two contrasting uniformed P.S I will be using are the Police and Royal Army. After this I will be explaining the chain of command and uniform structure for the Police. Finally, I will be analyzing and evaluating the importance and use of command and control within the Police.

Inspector - a police inspector is a Senior operational officer 24/7. Oversees all officers on duty at that time – there is usually just one “duty inspector” in operational command at any time.
