Pokemon Function Report

When Mrs. Simpson showed the whole class examples from previous classes about this huge math project, I caught a glance of the pokemon Pikachu being used. That got me thinking about doing a pokemon as well, since I do enjoy watching Pokemon during my free time. For Part C of this project, I drew Togepi, a fairy type pokemon in the first season in the series. Something I thought that I could have done to improve was thinking it through completely before starting to make the functions. At the end, I realized I had missed a function so I had to put it on a separate piece of paper instead of including it on the same sheet that had the same type of function. Even though I was a bit unorganized at the end, I still wouldn’t change anything about my project. I would keep the same picture I drew, and the functions I have made up for it. At the end of my project, it roughly took me 6 hours to do the functions and redraw and color since I was distracted from time to time. …show more content…
If it wasn’t laying on any points then it would be harder than it should it. The easiest part of this project is writing the functions for every single line on Togepi. I, personally, enjoyed making functions because after getting a function for a line, I checked to make sure the line was what I had on my picture without a calculator and when I was right, I felt proud of myself. I even did a little dance when I finished making up every functions. Overall, I have 43 functions made for every line on my Togepi. In addition, I started with the type of function that had a lot. I started with linear, which I had 14, and then I went to my absolute, which I had 10. Then I ended my function-making with the the least functions. Such as the two cubic as Togepi’s eyebrows, and the bottom egg-shell on

The main purpose of this experiment was to create an activity series. As shown above, the metals, in order of ease of reactivity, with Magnesium at the top (Being the most reactive) and Silver at the bottom (Being the least reactive). This shows that magnesium is more likely to give up its electron that aluminum or silver. The elements located near the bottom to this series would not react with other metals. This was proven when silver was placed in various aqueous solutions and did not react with them.…

It was the beginning of May 2014 (end of 7th grade) and my dad had found out about a great opportunity. He was very excited and told me that there was going to be a new school built at the campus of Aurora University that was focused on STEM. My dad asked me if I wanted to fill out the application to go and I said no. I didn’t want to leave all my friends to go to a new school. My dad always forced me to try new things and new experiences so I knew he wouldn’t take no for an answer.…

For my observation of how people communicate, I sat down in the food court of the Potomac Mills Mall. What i came to find out is that many people use a certain way of speaking with others, yet it seemed similar to the next person. For example, a couple of teens standing in the "Sbarro" line were conversing about the new Pokemon Go app. The tone in those teens was full of excitement, yet their hand gestures were calm and normal. There attention was fully embedded in the app without taking a moment to look up and notice that the line was moving until the person behind them aggressively mentioned it.…

I am not a creative person. When we were told about the project and that we had to come up with an idea to draw or create our own ceiling tile, I was not too excited. However, I knew that I had to come up with something since this was a giant part of my final grade. I sat there thinking while everyone else had already basically come up with an idea. Then it hit me, why don't I do it about something I love and have a passion for and that was, baseball.…

I will include singing the numbers 0-5 with the student at the beginning and end of the lesson to keep them engaged.…
