7th December 2017 Caged Bird Caged bird means his feet are bound and he is thrown in a cage. He does not have any power for flying. In the poem Maya Angelou says that in the world many birds are living in the lockup and they can’t live by their wish. They always can’t think that they will go to anywhere. In the cage they sing something in their mind that if they could go out of this cage they can fly and they can live freely. But who are free and they don’t have to stay in the cage and by their wish they can go to every place and they can fly. In the society some people life are like caged bird. Caged bird and dependent people they can’t live by their own choice. The caged bird can’t fly on the sky for his clipped and only they see others happy. They want to freedom but can’t say, so they sing of freedom. The dependent people in the society like before women couldn’t do anything without men’s permission. Also, they could not enjoy in their life because of limitation and they always thought their liberation but in their heart. However, the free bird can fly and he can live own choice. He can move anywhere without any obstruct and whatever he does that is with bravely. The society has many independent people and they don’t care anyone. Only they think their power and they show their power. They want to more powerful in the society. They think all of the things are theirs and who are poor than them, they can’t enjoy or lead the society. The independent people don’t want to give right them because they think they are top label in the world.
