Most of these experts are psychiatrist, psychologist, behavioral geneticist, and pediatric psychiatrist. Not all doctors agree to each other research as proven by Robert Plomin, P.H and David Reiss, M.D. It took Reiss more than 12 years to accept what Plomin has already discovered. Robert Plomin work shows parenting behavior is less involved when it comes to our personalities as genes plays a bigger role. Having a baby who isn’t advanced as they wish or giving up on a child who is hard to handle will have a big impact in who they will become. Having no resources from their parents, that same baby or child will face master developmental changes. When the environment does not meet with the child genes it result in a different outcome. Different outcome such as antisocial behavior, diminished mental health and decreased motivation. When the parent engage the baby with eagerness his behavior will change as suppose giving up on a baby to later face difficulties. In my opinion in the argument of Nature v. Nurture, nurture has a greater effect on one's personality. Although we can be predisposed to certain characteristics and traits, I believe that with the right environment as a child you can change these things. While they might still be in you, you can grow up learning to choose to be who you want to be whether it be that your parents had temperament issues and you choose to try and be kind and manage your temper or if one of your parents was a sociopath and you are brought up to act differently and empathize with others and your environment. For example, Ted Bundy was a serial killer who kidnapped and sexually assaulted his victims.…

Multiple sources provide insight that points towards humans being nurtured as opposed to being nature. One source is Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein which is about Dr. Victor Frankenstein and how he creates a creature who is nurtured by society through multiple events. He obtains multiple traits throughout the story. The next source is “The Nature vs. Nurture Debate” which discusses both topics in detail.…

Do you think the parents life experiences can make it so we can predict a child’s behavior? For the longest time psychologist have been trying to figure out whether its nature or nurture that determines a person’s behavior. Nature refers to the the genes and hereditary factors that make you the person you are. Nurture has to do with the environmental variables, how you were raised, what you had to deal with growing up, relationships with others, and where/who you’re around. People are more curious of how much of nature or nurture is actually used to make up the person you are, so really do your parents’ life experiences make up who you are, or is it the child’s experiences?…
