The solar system of Trappist-1 is very much different from the one that we live in. For starters, the size of this host star, Trappist-1, is remarkably only one-tenth the size of the sun or just only twice the size of our planet Jupiter. Compared to our solar system, Trappist-1 only consists of three planets that orbits around it. However, the length of time these tiny planets take to orbit around Trappist-1…

From my general reading of the book “Why I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming” by Mike Brown, I was able to grasp an understanding of his personal character. In the beginning of the book it’s hard to point out his personality, due to his brief insight on his childhood upbringing. He began describing his passion and direct gravitation towards astronomy, which would later impact his life tolerably. His metamorphosis from childhood to adulthood, slightly changed, but in the end became his life profession. He did not disclose too much on his childhood friends, or relationships growing up, to give a judgment of his personality.…

According to science a planet is a celestial body that is in the orbit of the sun, has a certain mass and has cleared the neighborhood around its orbit. A dwarf planet is also a celestial body that orbits the sun, has a certain mass, but has not cleared the neighborhood around its orbit and is not a satellite. This is what we use to classify planets but we don’t have an actual definition for the word planet. Pluto has been a part of our solar system for a long time now, but the question is Pluto a planet is still upon us. Some consider Pluto a planet and some consider it a dwarf planet.…
