After the plague, many this changed. People still supported God, but they started to question the Pope and broke off into different denominations. Many people would die, leaving many job positions unfilled. This means that the 4.4% unemployment rate in the U.S. would drop leaving almost 1% unemployed. This would then boost the economy making the 2.38% inflation drop. In the Middle Ages, many people got more jobs so supply and demand equaled, leaving almost no inflation to the economy.
With this economic change, it would also bring along a shift in power. I feel that this plague would give our leader more powerful because of the trading, collection of more resources and economic growth. Back in the Middle Ages this ages this also happened, but in a slightly different way. Many Lords lost their control and power, but the kings became wealthier with all the incoming resources and trading.
In the Middle Ages, many peoples values changed. They came together to support one another and looked to education to school their beliefs. Now, from how divided our country is, I don’t think it would have that same effect. I think many people would isolate themselves to their devices and only communicate to people by technology.
