Procedure and results
The pig’s heart was placed in a dissecting pan. The color of heart was red, it was covered by white material (lipid). The front part of the heart is called anterior and back is posterior. The main feature that distinguishes the anterior from posterior is line that goes diagonally on the heart that is interventricular artery. The posterior also has interventricular artery, but it goes straight down on the mod line of heart. From the anterior view, the right and left auricle are observed. Difference between posterior and anterior is shown on the picture 1 and 2. The tip of the left ventricle that is opposite the base of the heart called apex. It was also red color and located on the lower side of the heart.
