Physical Therapy Career Plan

My educational and career plans are to attending Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University as a part of the Pre- Physical program aimed to develop competent practicing Allied Health Professionals. My academic objective is to become equipped with the skills, knowledge, understanding and attitude necessary to be an effective practitioner. My career aspiration is to be a Licensed Physical Therapist. However, an initial plan is not always achieved and may require alternative planning. This paper is a contingency plan if my original plan is not attained.
My current educational goal is to earn a bachelor degree in Pre- Physical Therapy. Thereafter, I aim to enter into Physical Therapy school to pursue a master’s degree. If for some reason I do not get into Physical Therapy school to become a Physical Therapist I will seek a career in Occupational Therapy and change my educational choice from Physical Therapy to Occupational Therapy.
I chose this career path because I find the field interesting and find it to fit my experiences and my personality. While attending high school, I participated on the basketball team and worked closely with trainers. In addition, I attended course in Care and Prevention that I found intriguing and

My weaknesses are I do not like a lot of attention and I am not open to expressing my feelings to others. My professionally strengths include my ability to think analytically and systematically and my commitment to my work.
