Phillip Malloy (Phil) in "nothing but the truth" was suspended for causing a huge disturbance. In the story "nothing but the truth" miss Narwin suspended Phillip for humming after miss Narwin told him to stop humming. In summary Phillip was suspended for humming in class. Phil was causing a disturbance. Phil told his freind that he would try to get out of miss Narwin's homeroom. Phil starts to disobey miss Narwin since Phillip wouldn't listen to miss Narwin he got sent to the principal's office. When Phil's parents asked Phil why he got in triuble Phil said he was being patriotic. After Phillip told his parents that he was being patriotic his parents told their neighbor ted griffon about what happened. Then Ted griffon told a reportor that
